It's been a few days since I have been able to post on my blog but I have been enjoying a few new projects. I received a huge box of yarn that I ordered and just had to get my hands on one of them. I was looking through a knitting book recently and came across instructions on how to make an I-cord and I just had to try it. It is so simple and fast! I made a necklace in 30 minutes and it is adorable. I now need to head to the craft store in search of a clasp that will work for it. I will post a pic when finished. I also just finished knitting the body of my first bag. It turned out great and I will probably work on the lining and handles next.
I'm having so much fun making things I've never tried before. I'm so new at knitting...only started about 3 years ago and I've only made blankets and scarves. I have so many ideas in my head (and not enough time) and look forward to making all of them come to life. I hope to get this blog circulating with other wonderful knitters to gain knowledge, share experiences and get new ideas.
