Well, I have totally ignored my blog for months now and today have found a few moments to post. It was a crazy fall and even crazier holiday season as my time was consumed by being a mom--the greatest job in the world--and completing a major custom order for Christmas. I don't know how many of you are familiar with the show Doctor Who but I created the Season 16 Doctor Who scarf for a client for Christmas (and am currently making a 2nd one for her). This is a HUGE scarf - around 12 feet or so but I knitted it in about 6 weeks! It was quite an experience, not the most interesting knit but exciting to watch grow. Here are a few pictures.
I am looking forward to growing my Etsy shop this year and focusing my designs on knits for babies and children. I have just started my first newborn cocoon and hope it turns out the way I want for sale in my shop. I think they make for absolutely adorable photography props.
Today was the Inauguration of our new President! Amazing day! I cannot wait to see what President Obama does for this country. He is inspirational and I think he will do an amazing job.
